1. Who we are
CareConnect ("CareConnect," "we," "us") is operated by [Legal Entity Name], a company registered in India at [Registered Address] ("Company"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CareConnect website and application (the "Platform").
2. What CareConnect is — and isn't
CareConnect is a technology platform that connects patients and their families ("Patients") with independently registered nursing professionals ("Professionals") for on-demand home healthcare services. CareConnect does not itself employ Professionals, provide medical diagnosis or treatment, or practice medicine or nursing in any form. Professionals available through the Platform are independently qualified, registered, and responsible for the care they provide, in accordance with applicable State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council regulations. Your relationship for the actual provision of care is with the Professional, not with CareConnect.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Indian law to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration and for keeping your login credentials secure. Professionals must complete CareConnect's verification pipeline (document review, background verification, license validation, and admin approval) before receiving bookings; CareConnect may suspend or reject any Professional account at its discretion if verification requirements are not met.
4. Bookings, cancellations, and conduct
Bookings are confirmed once a Professional accepts a Patient's request. Either party may report a booking-related concern through the in-app support or safety tools. CareConnect reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or compromise the safety of Patients or Professionals, including through the Trust Score and safety-monitoring systems described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payments
Service fees are shown to Patients before confirming a booking and include the cost of care, applicable GST, and CareConnect's platform fee. Payments are processed through CareConnect's payment partner(s); CareConnect does not store your full payment card details. Professionals are paid out from their CareConnect wallet in accordance with our withdrawal process. Refunds and cancellation charges, where applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis via [support contact / refund policy link].
6. Safety features
The Platform includes safety tools such as an SOS alert, live location sharing during an active visit, and in-app messaging that does not expose either party's phone number. These tools are provided to support safety and do not guarantee it; in a genuine emergency, contact local emergency services directly before or alongside using in-app tools.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CareConnect is not liable for the acts or omissions of independently registered Professionals, including the quality of care provided. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], India.
